She spends so much time spent in the studio, always doing what’s expected—following directions, receiving critiques. Today, as she dances alone by the river, she feels renewed. She had forgotten the freedom that dance brings, how deeply she loves it when it’s just for herself. In this moment, twirling in her dress, she feels as light as a feather.
